Business starts from an idea, sometimes big, sometimes small and hopefully grows to a bigger idea, literally overnight in some cases.  For me I have a couple of small businesses underway.  During our recent around Australia trip in 2006, we visited the lovely seaside town of Yamba on the NSW north coast, when I was browsing in a craft shop and got the inkling to make some Christmas earrings for presents.  From there I started making the earrings.  I was lucky that I didn't do too bad out of the ones I made for Christmas 2006 and already in September 2007, I have been given the opportunity to put my earrings in one of the beauty salons here in town.  Last year I also approached one of the hair salons in town and the ladies that run the salon were only too happy to put the earrings on their counter for me, which proved to be a good way to sell them.  So I am now in the process of making more.  This year there will be different dangles and here's hoping that they will be more successful this Christmas 2007.  Donna
